Never contacted them in regards to moving but still got FOUR letters in the mail. Not sure how or why they thought it was a good idea to send this much information that was NEVER requested but will not be using them nor recommending in the future.

Christopher, Cody, Tony and Joe did a great job helping with our move. Very respectful and professional they made our priorities their priorities. Couldn’t have asked for a better moving crew.

Zach and Joel were awesome! They worked really hard to make sure everything was just the way we needed it to be. They went beyond! They were very personable and professional. I would highly recommend them and will use again when another move is needed.

I was hopeful I’d be leaving a 5 star review. I coordinated my move with David. He was responsive and proactive to start. They showed up when they were supposed to, my 2 person crew was friendly and efficient. I fed them donuts, tipped them, and was happy with the few large items I had to move for a close move, under 2 miles. Right after they left, I noticed a piece of plastic under my wine fridge with some fluid. I thought it was accidental trash. Then I plugged my fridge in and it started leaking fluid. The coolant line was visibly damaged. I notified David in less that 24 hours along with a video and asked for a claim form. He said he would have one sent. 24 hours later, not seeing anything, I asked again. He said he talked to his supervisor and would send something. Still nothing. I requested assistance two more times and have been totally ignored ever since. Accidents happen, but zero response is unacceptable. Run as fast as you can from this moving company.

While the crew was polite and respectful, it was clear they were more concerned with the clock than with quality. They could have saved a lot of time by skipping wrapping so many things in blankets. We've moved several times over the decades, and we've never had that before - even when moving across the country. Additionally they gouged the post at the bottom of the staircase of the home we moved out of. The photo is on my phone. Fortunately the folks who bought the house didn't fuss. I'm sure the guys must have seen or felt that but they didn't acknowledge. They turned dressers and chests to a 90 degree angle and a couple of drawers stuck. Many small items fell out and the items in the drawers were all crammed to one side. We've never experienced that before

Garry & Jacob with Out & In Moving were my moving team today. They were right on time, friendly, considerate of my brain injuries & suuuuuuper-fast (both loading & unloading). I will definitely call Out & In in the future to use their junk removal services at my storage unit :)

True professionals from start to finish! Ask for Oscar’s crew. On time, hard chargers with great energy. Truly grateful for their hard work. The team made moving the “stuff” the easiest part. I highly recommend with the highest recommendation I can give.

Had these guys come and move our very full apartment into a townhouse. Levi, Zeke, and Daniel absolutely crushed it! Fully completed the work in my timeframe and budget. I would hire these fellas again anytime! Thanks for all your hard work!

Choosing The Movers to move my family into our new build home was one of the worst decisions I made through the whole process. Their quote was reasonable, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. On moving day, they arrived on time, but understaffed to complete the job in the time allotted even though they had visited our home to see what we needed to move. The staff of four people they did bring to the job were undersized and had a difficult time moving anything heavy. They would consistently put stuff on a dolly when it would have been much easier and faster to just carry. They called in a 5th person to assist that arrived late morning which did help some but he left midway through the job. It wasn't able the number of people that did the job but the quality of workers that again just struggled to move anything with weight or move with any speed. They brought 2 trucks that both threw oil on our driveway and the road. They knew this as they brought cardboard to catch the oil. It worked for some spots, others it didn't so we had to clean up the oil from our old driveway before we moved. It took them approx 8 hours to load up our 4 bedroom home into their trucks even though I had sold most of the furniture from 3 of our bedrooms and the living room furniture. When moving my smoker, they tipped over the grease bucket which got grease all over my Traeger which took 3 fun hours to clean. My wife put down brown paper to hopefully reduce the amount of dirt/mud they tracked in our new home. It helped some, but they still left scratches and a TON of mud over our floors since they used a dolly to move most things. Around 8:30pm, my wife and I realized that there was no way they would finish that day unless we helped. So, my two boys in their 20s and my wife and I helped them move the last 2 hours. We finished at 10:30pm completely exhausted from the experience. I completely understand that moving is not fun, but that is why we spent $3200 to hire mowers. Again, one of the worst decisions I've made in a long time.

Great service - hard working and nice movers.

1786584650

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Employees were very professional and knowledgeable. This was our 7th move by professional movers. The Movers were hands down the most knowledgeable about how to safely prepare each item for safe travel. We had a complicated move with a number of fragile items. They worked quickly and efficiently. I give them my highest recommendation.

1786554759

Unfortunately I am compelled to leave a public review due to the unwillingness of this company to speak with me regarding their destruction of our furniture. We had a pleasant experience with the staff and crew during our move, but when the items came back to us after being put in storage by The Movers, many were totally destroyed. We hired this company to wrap/protect our large furniture, lamps and pictures to be placed in storage, but they either didn’t wrap the items or wrapped them haphazardly. For instance, a valuable framed picture was only 2/3 wrapped, so the 1/3 of exposed frame is ruined beyond repair. There were dirty footmarks on one of our cushioned benches, our nice sectional was stained and damaged, they saran wrapped a green crayon to our couch cushion and it has melted into the couch and will never be able to be repaired, etc.The day of the move, the mover filled the truck with diesel instead of gas and caused a breakdown and significant delay. Additionally, the company charged me more than they quoted me. These are things we told them don’t worry about and were completely understanding with them. Unfortunately, these should have been red flags to us that our items may not be in great care…something we later discovered. When I called they sent me to a third party claims company who totally dismissed me and wouldn’t reply to my correspondence once they told me they wouldn’t help me. I’ve called the company 4 or 5 times and no one in management will call me back.Because I have tried many times to find resolution and this company has ignored those calls, I thought it appropriate to leave this review.**just editing this review after reading the response from The Movers KC. You did not own your mistakes of misquoting us or the delay in moving because of the fuel mishap. We graciously allowed for those things and didn’t hold you accountable. More importantly, moving blankets would have never cured the damage done to our furniture by your company. Would a moving blanket have prevented a green crayon from being saran wrapped to our couch? Would a moving blanket have prevented your crew from standing on our cream cushioned bench and putting a giant dirty footprint on it? Would a moving blanket have prevented our white frames from being chipped off and ruined because your movers only boxed 2/3 of it and not the whole thing? Would a moving blanket have prevented our lamp shades from being crushed and dented?Further. Our storage was more than adequate for storage. We had climate control storage for important items and non-control for items like tools/grill etc. There was plenty of room for everything to be properly, safely stored. We wasted almost $5k on the move and hundreds in storage because of your inability to do the job.Your response to the damage done is similar to your response to this review: abysmal. The itemized list of damaged items is $14k+. Hopefully you are able to correct these monstrosities and lack of care so your future customers don’t have to endure what we have.

1786364964

We were quoted a price of about $2700 for our move which included two moving trucks and four movers with 8 hours of labor. Anyone I talked to thought our move should take 6 hours max. One truck showed up about an hour late. There was a lot of standing around. They couldn't get our fridge out of the house (how did it ever get in!?). They gashed my wall with the fridge while trying and didn't tell me about it, I had to see it the next day for myself. The trucks were finally unloaded about 12 hours later. This was a horrible experience.

1785608307

Jonathan,Juan,Alex, and Omar were OUTSTANDING! Kind, helpful, quick, and went above and beyond. So easy going and flexible with the chaos of moving day.

1785549807

The Movers were able to be scheduled on the day I needed, but were very slow in doing the job, and therefore didn't move everything. They did not damage anything in the process and were friendly to deal with, but I was left with a lot of belongings left behind, which is not what I hired movers for.

1785261865

Be very careful with this company. Our sales person sent us a quote to sign and didn’t explain the whole contract and it ended up costing us hundreds in damages due to their deposit requirement for damages and didn’t disclose it. Then we changed our service a few days prior and a new estimate or contract wasn’t sent to us so we had to argue with the insurance. Then on moving day, the guys didn’t have the proper tools to take furniture apart or take tv mounts off the wall and were even hesitant to take T s off and said they don’t do that and I had to have them call a supervisor to get it done. They didn’t bring anything for the packing and had to use our materials and we still got charged the full price. When we called the sales person about the issues she blamed us and said “well why don’t you just do this stuff then?” This is horrible customer service and it’s been over a month and I still can’t get a supervisor to call me back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, this is the worst moving company I’ve ever used.

Levi, Zeke and Mekhi from The Movers KC were so wonderful helping me move from one storage unit to another. They arrived early and always had smiles on even as it began to rain for the first hour of my move!It was an awkward move because I had accumulated many pieces of glassware that were not in boxes but on shelving racks that they happily began boxing and packing for me (yes, even as it rained). They packed, moved me, and unpacked my glassware without any problems. Not even a tinkle of glass breakage. The job broke down to $286.18 per hour for my 4 hour move. Not cheap but expertly managed

Kyle, Tony, and Carlos were incredible! Highly recommend using these guys

1781666193

The Movers did a wonderful job on our long distance move. Tammie was so helpful with the estimate and scheduling. She was always readily available by phone for any questions or concerns. Extra big shout out to the moving crew (Jonathan, Tristan and Grant). They packed up our apt and were incredibly professional, courteous and efficient. Very special thanks to Jonathan who then drove to the Dallas area, loaded up our storage unit, then delivered it all to our home in New Mexico. He kept in constant communication through the whole process. He went above and beyond getting everything unloaded and re-assembled. His exceptionally hard work, kindness and professionalism was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend The Movers for any of your moving needs.

From being on time, adjusting to rapidly changing scenarios, and executes flawlessly. These gentlemen exhibited the highest level of professionalism. They kept a near constant mode of communication with myself and my wife. Ensuring our belongings made it to where they needed to be. Even when faced with a difficult obstacle they got together and formulated a plan to get my furniture to their final destination. They utilize their personal experience, interdependence, and outside resources. I would recommend these men and The Movers for anyone's moving needs!
